What You Need To Know About Vending At Harambee Kingston NY Events


Thank you for choosing to be a part of the Festivals produced  by Harambee Kingston, NY, Inc.  We are a non-profit organization that honors and celebrates  African American Culture in Kingston, NY.


Harambee Kingston NY's free community festivals and events create an opportunity for local food and craft vendors to showcase their products to festival attendees, while supporting the growth of small businesses and promoting service providers within the community.


The funds raised from our festivals and events support free programs and activities for the Kingston community. Harambee Kingston NY events are inclusive and open to all.  Everyone is always welcome! Ase!

Holiday Toy - Put A Smile On Kids Faces

Please help put smiles on kids faces by donating unwrapped new toys by for all ages. You are invited to help Harambee Team wrap all the presents on December 17th.


Families can pick up wrapped presents on Saturday December 23 between 3pm and 6pm. Email us if you have any questions or would like to Volunteer: info@harambeekingstonny.org

Join us for the first indoor Holiday Market featuring Black, Indigenous and People Of Color Vendors for uniques gift items. The indoor  Harambee Holiday Market will open 2 days during the work week as well as on Saturday for all Holiday shoppers.  Everyone is welcome and support the vendors by shopping with them for the upcoming Holidays. Everyone Is Welcome

  • What are the Required Documentation to Vend at Harambee events and festival

    Indoor events produced by Harambee only require that Vendors fill out Vendor Application with the Payment Amount.


    When events are outdoors, the City of Kingston has requirments for Vending at public events. Event Vendor Applican provides this information on the form. City Of Kingston Vendor Application 

  • How much Booth Space does Harambee provide

    Generally Vendor  Booth space allocation is must be no larger than 10x10.  Food Trucks are permitted, please indicate in your Vendor Application.


    Some of Harambee events are located indoors and provides space for Vendor Tables and Chairs only.

  • Do I need to bring my own Tables and Chairs?

    Yes, all Vendors must provide their own Tables and Chairs at Harambee Kingston NY events and booths. Indoor events do not include Booths or Tents.

  • Will Vendors have designated Parking and Early Load-In location

    Yes, each event will have secheduled load-in times and designation parking.  Load-In and Booth Set must be set 1hr prior to event time. 


    Load-In Time  will be provided for each event and upon recieiving Vendor Application and Registration Fee. 

  • Will the event location have electricity available for Vendors?

    No, Harambee Kingston NY can not provide or confirm that Vendors can use eletricity at outdoor public events.  Vendors must provide their own generator, extention cords with surge protector if needed.


    Electricty may be available at indoor venues, but can not be gaurenteed. 

  • What type of Payment Methods do you accept?

    Payment methods for Food and Craft Vendors can be paid by Check, Money Order or Harambee Kingston NY Secure Pay Pal (Donate Button) 2 weeks prior to the event date to insure your participation. 


    Information Only Vendors must also complete the City of Kingston Event Vendor Application, but does not have to pay for the Booth Space.

  • Event Closing Requirements

    All Vendors and Food Trucks are responsible for area clean up, trash and recycling.  A designated area will be provided for trash disposal, recyclables and food waste.
